Poster Design: Cadenza Live Music Venue Freedom of style.
It’s not often that a designer has the opportunity to start with a completely blank slate to create an engaging concept. Cadenza, a live music and performance venue in Freeport, needed posters they could use to announce upcoming events, and I worked closely with them to create these compositions.
Singles Jazz Night
Jazz clubs evoke a certain nostalgia, which is captured in this poster for Cadenza’s Singles Jazz Mixer. The muted tones and free-flowing abstraction of the musician make for a comfortable, familiar connection to the event.
Fogg Sings Tedeschi
This piece featured the strong image of Stephanie Fogg hitting a powerful note while singing the electric songs of Susan Tedeschi. The background conveys the dynamic nature of Tedeschi’s music.
